------------------------------
Michael is awesome
cash + annual?
2k from community budget
yes: wr intel oe ti (enea mg )

=> jefro - proposal for annual

---------------
introduction: Michael Ling
new ab member for wr

michael ling
product line manager resp for developing hardware support roadmap for wrl

---------------
YP supplement in RTC Group publication

talking to rtc group
conferences around the country & internationally
for rtc group and consult for companies
interested in putting together publication opportunity
they put out magazine, we could sponsor a supplement
are ab members interested?
members would contribute
could be white papers, even ads
28-32 pgs
completed by august
distribution is 15k mag, 1k events, 23k dist electronically
total distribution is about 40k
could help write, can help gather materials
can help fulfil sales growth in developing companies
pb: ask lf if they want to kick in to get new members

ch: want to see summary in email, but I don't write checks
bm: interesting, need writeup, not positive rtc right avenue
recently floated name past mktg, shattering silence
value of rtecc, 1 day conferences
dr: very high quality even though small
te: worldwide
can also take info to another channel later

=> tracey to send out summary, consider other channels
eetimes?

many people know about yp - sea of hands at panel discussion

---------------
Proposed compliance changes
revising the YPC/YPP questionnaires

bm: layers in shape, applied for compatible
will keep doing that for each yp release
each biz unit produces release quarterly, some monthly (alphas, betas)
just quarterly at least 3 bus, 4 qtrs, 2-4 sdks
a whole lot of compliance reviews
would like some way to pre-review layers, say "sdk built with yp compat layers"

rp: iss - no layer; scripts which interface to project tooling
for questions on form, we always assumed a layer
intent is there
wording on the criteria needs to be updated

dr: when put together v1.0
ready to make kernel part of mandatory reqs?
bm: TI will never be ready to make that a requirement
dr: development kernel - edge? why behind ti?
rp: dev kernel tracking master, always bleeding edge kernel available
bm: some tension about kernels
beneficial for linaro to think more about yp

bm: logo with + sign, meet even optional requirements

dr:
look in 1yr
not ready for toolchain
almost ready for kernel

jo: please help
lt: tiger team, present 2 ab meetings from now
bm, rp, jo, dr, bruce, michael ling, khem, chris munakata philip, daniel

=> set up team (jefro)

dr: code standards - quality
not a compliance program

---------------
Finance update

wiki pages updated to end of feb
some expenses not in yet
some gold members paid for the whole year
some members have delayed payments

---------------
Advocacy update

talks went well [at collab summit]

lcj - ready to ship booth, no one going to japan? no demos etc
room in the booth, send stuff
  also for automotive summit
linuxcon new orleans

=> send events summary to list (jefro or tracey)

---------------
Infrastructure update

some changes in osu rack, power dist
more capacity to add more autobuilders
short downtime
headed off a number of issues wrt bad memory etc
budget for more autobuilders that can happen now
obj for 1.5 big with qa, more runtime testing on autobuilder
may need to budget for more autobuilder resources
