Hi,
I just sent a patch yesterday to fix similar problems in some other
BSPs.
The fix was to replace this:
> THISDIR := "${@os.path.dirname(bb.data.getVar('FILE', d, True))}"
> FILESPATH =. "${@base_set_filespath(["${THISDIR}/${PN}"], d)}:"

with this:
FILESEXTRAPATHS_prepend := "${THISDIR}/${PN}:"
Can you try making that change in your layer and see if that helps?
