Hi All,

The morty branch in meta-xilinx has been created for the 2.2/'morty'
release of Yocto/OE.

Major changes/additions:
 * MicroBlaze support for GCC6 and binutils 2.27
 * Mali kernel module for ZynqMP
 * runqemu support for all *-qemu-* machines as well as ep108-zynqmp
and zcu102-zynqmp
 * Recipe for Xilinx QEMU (xilinx-v2016.3)

Renamed machines/boards in this release:
 * qemu-zynq7 - Replaces qemuzynq
 * ml605-qemu-microblazeel - Replaces qemumicroblaze
 * s3adap1800-qemu-microblazeeb - Replaces qemumicroblaze-s3adsp1800

Kernel/U-Boot version changes:
 * Added support for linux-yocto 4.8 kernel
 * Added support for linux-yocto-tiny 4.8 as well as configs for -tiny
 * Updated linux-xlnx to 4.6 (xilinx-v2016.3) kernel
 * Updated u-boot-xlnx to 2016.07 (xilinx-v2016.3)
 * Updated arm-trusted-firmware to xilinx-v2016.3

Known Issues:
 * There is a bug with binutils 2.27 for AArch64, which causes build
failure for arm-trusted-firmware. There is a backport patch that is
currently working its way into oe-core master/morty. The patch can be
obtained from https://patchwork.openembedded.org/patch/134159/
 * The 'kc705-microblazel' bitstream is incorrect version, waiting for
the updated bitstream (2016.3) to be available for fetching.
 * u-boot-xlnx xilinx-v2016.3, has a bug with zynq and zynqmp which
causes corruption of memory before u-boot has relocated itself.
Waiting for patches to be accepted upstream before backporting them to
this version of u-boot.
 * GCC 6.2 does not support MicroBlaze v10.0, "-mcpu=v10.0".

Thanks to everyone that have contributed to this release:
 * Alistair Francis
 * Cyril Chemparathy
 * Manjukumar Matha
 * Mike Looijmans
 * Robert Yang
 * Sujith Haridasan
 * Yasir-Khan
