[meta-intel] which machine for basic x86 server builds

Hello,

I'm putting together an image for a basic x86 server.  Which machine
conf is recommended?  I looked briefly through the ones in meta-intel
and selected chiefriver, but open to ideas.  We've not selected our
hardware yet, but I assume most modern servers will at least have
ivy-bridge SI in them?
