If it is helpful, here (below) is the set of commits for kernel-cache
with the notes I had.  I do not see a contrib area for
yocto-kernel-cache, so I put the commits onto meta in linux-yocto-contrib.

This "pull request" is the kernel-cache equivalent to the set of 91
patches on top of linux-yocto standard/routerstationpro branch.

I missed one other deviation.  In your 3.6-rc4 merge work you'd dropped
spi-ath79-remove-superfluous-chip-select-code.patch.  I did not know why
so I brought it back into the series.  But I might be in error.
