Hi all,

i am working on one open source project, for this i have to add some
debian packages as yocto recipies.
i am trying to add "audit" recipe,so iam trying to understand the audit
debian package ,i got struck between "depends" and "build-depends"

audit contaings many packages like
auditd
libaudit-common
libaudit-dev
libauparse0  etc...

if i click on individual packages in https://packages.debian.org it is
giving "depends" list,if i click on source it is giving "build-
depends".

now my confusion is what i have to prefer either "depends" or "build-
depends" for writing "audit" recipe and what is the difference between
thes "depend" and "build-depends".

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Archana
