[yocto] do_image_*[depends]: how this works?

Hi all.

I don't understand how to use the do_image_wic[] istructions.

Where I can find info about?


I need to customize a syslinux.cfg configuration file, but with 
syslinux_%.bbappend I fail.

I look inside many image recipe the row

do_image_wic[depends] := ....


But I don't understand the mean
