[yocto] Issue with gcc6

Fido is almost three years old, isn't supported, and doesn't support gcc6
hosts.

Either:
1) move to a release which is supported, such a Rocko
2) use a supported host distro for Fido
3) fix the problems yourself.  In this case the warning is showing you a
line which would crash if executed.
