It should be:

PACKAGECONFIG_append_pn-<my-recipe-name> = " f1"

e.g. f1 and f2 are the packageconfig options defined by the recipe,
which can be enabled or disabled. "-Dxxx" are CFLAGS that will be
added when each packageconfig option is set or not.
