[yocto] Disable cert validation

I have a situation where our device (yocto - Jethro) is failing to validate a certificate.

12520 EAP-TLS failed SSL/TLS handshake because the client rejected the ISE local-certificate.

I would like to disable the cert validation. Is there an nmcli command (or some other way) that I could disable?
