Hello.

I am yocto newbie.

Is there a variable associated with the release version available in
build/conf/local.conf(bitbake)?

I searched the yocto manual.

So I looked at "NATIVELSBSTRING" and it seems that the variable is not
appropriate in this case.

I'm wondering if there is a variable in the rootfs I build that can set
version numbers such as "1.0", "2.0".

example)

           1. 2017-01-01 build → rootfs_1.0.tar.gz

           2. 2017-11-21 build → rootfs_2.0.tar.gz

I'm sorry I do not have enough English. :)

Best regards.
