Current Dev Position: 1.9 Milestone 2 (M2)
Next Deadline: M2 cut off of July 27th at noon GMT (on hold, see status)

SWAT team rotation: Benjamin -> Juro
https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Yocto_Build_Failure_Swat_Team

Key Status/Updates:

  * YP 1.9 M2 has been delayed whilst we investigated autobuilder runtime failures, selftest failures, some potential license contamination issues.
  * The delay has also allowed us to prepare several important patch sets including bitbake lock fixes, tinfoil2 and some toolchain improvements (including automated testing improvements).
  * Hoping for YP 1.9 M2 rc1 to build this weekend.
  * YP 1.8.1 and YP 1.7.3 point releases have been held until some of the build issues are addressed.
  * Post YP 1.9 M2, there will be some more invasive changes including changes to the default parameters to getVar and possibly getVarFLag as well as a switch to memory resident bitbake.
  * gcc5 is looking much improved, have fixes for u-boot but some linux-yocto kernel issues remain.
