[yocto] is anything happening with "meta-kernel-dev" layer?

  just noticed the entry at:

http://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/branch/master/layers

for "meta-kernel-dev":

http://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/branch/master/layer/meta-kernel-dev/

which doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot these days. is this still
relevant? should it be tossed from the active layers page?
