[yocto] OPKG configuration questions

something is not adding up.

either you have "remove_packaging_data_files" in ROOTFS_POSTPROCESS_COMMAND or 'package-management' is missing in IMAGE_FEATURES

Can you paste output of bitbake -e <yourimage>
somewhere ?
