[yocto] how does one find the (OE) layer index from the yocto home page?

  it doesn't seem to be obvious how, from the yocto home page, you'd
find the OE layer index http://www.openembedded.org/wiki/LayerIndex.
in fact, if you search for the phrase "layer index" at yoctoproject,
this is what you get:

  http://www.yoctoproject.org/search/node/layer%20index

should it not be more obvious how to find the layers? and how should
that page sync up with the layers section at
http://git.yoctoproject.org/?
