[yocto] yocto hardware support

Dear sir/madam
I'm a student from Shanghai JiaoTong University,China.
After reading the website of yocto project,
I foundhttp://www.yoctoproject.org/documentation/hardware-support,and I'm really interested in this project.Having worked on Ubuntu 11.10,I want to download the Poky to my embedded board based on Atom CPU,but I've no ideas how to do this.Can you give me some advices?
