Is this just in regard to the compatible badges or the member badges as well?

Ok, now we will start to discuss. I later noticed the “shiny” or metallic look of Option A, but was first impacted by the cleaner look of Option B. I’m visualizing this being used in print as well as a physical badge/pin which would be about 2CM or less in size. We could remove the COMPATIBLE ribbon for the pins.

I think the increased complexity of the overall shape of Option A offsets the benefit of its “shinyness”. If the metal color needs to be shown more we could consider making the upper box in each metal color. I think the mix of brushed aluminum for the upper box with a polished precious metal “ribbon” is confusing if you look closely.

Seen side-by-side I think there will be issues with getting Option A printed in collateral correctly by members. I wish to re-interate my vote for option B:

I’m all for Option A’s as well, for the Member badges (I like them shiny) and for the Compatible Badges.
I like the participant badge with the larger logo area.  I didn’t ask them to resize this and I wasn’t going to change the badge we’re already using.

Folks,
I realized I should send the badge comps out to the AB with a more obvious subject line, as opposed to on a reply, so you may receive two copies.

Attached are the comps for the Membership badges and Compatibility Badges with incorporated membership designation.
The goal was to keep them well within our current branding and to keep the compatible badges relatively close to the original design.

Please review as I'd like to have them be officially approved at this meeting this Friday.
FYI: I'm working on having the agency make a more obvious distinction between the Platinum and Silver re: color.
