[yocto-ab] YP Advisory Board: notes

A subset of the YP Advisory Board met this morning:

Lieu Ta, Wind River
Mark Ireton, AMD
David Cobbley, Intel
Philip Balister, OpenEmbedded

Since there was not a quorum, we did not vote on anything. Items under 
discussion:

- upcoming Developer Day and ELC sponsorship

A flyer is being circulated for DevDay, for members to post at any 
conferences they attend between now and March 26. Please print these and 
have them available at your booths. So far they are being placed at 
SCaLE and Embedded World, but the more the better.

- infrastructure lead

We haven't had an infrastructure subgroup lead for a while, and one is 
needed. This person would essentially be Michael's interface with the 
Advisory Board, and would also technically be Michael's supervisor. We 
discussed this at some length, and I will be asking the group for a 
volunteer for this position. We will vote on it at ELC at the latest.

- opkg maintainership

The current maintainer for opkg needs to retire (to finish his PhD) so 
that project is seeking maintainership. This is a great opportunity for 
an individual, and also for the project so that we can help stabilize 
one of our core dependencies. I have it on my list to follow up with 
various individuals, and also to try to identify similar projects that 
might someday be able to be brought under the YP umbrella.
