Hello everyone,

I'm having some trouble with display output using meta-intel, if I boot
a core-image-sato image
and switch to a TTY, the screen goes black for a few seconds approx.
every 10 seconds.

I'm using the Thud release with linux-intel kernel v4.14.68.

This errormessage pops up in dmesg the first time this occurs:
[drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO
underrun

I've tried:
- Debian 9, with kernel 4.14.68 built from source => no problem.
- Without meta-intel => no problem.
- With meta-intel and linux-intel_4.19.bb from git => no problem.
- i915.modeset=0 => No flashing, but the resolution is much lower now.
- Sumo => same problem.
- These kernel parameters didn't help:
     i915.enable_fbc=0 or 1
     i915.enable_psr=0 or 1
     acpi_osi="Linux"

Using acpi=off seems to work, but the system seems to hang on shutdown now.

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this?

Hardware: Fujitsu D3544-S3 with:
   CPU: Intel Pentium Silver J5005
   IGP: Intel UHD 605

Thanks in advance.
