This makes sense. 

At present this can only work if a board and its contents are cloned in
meta-intel and the fingerprint for the new firmware revision is replaced
in the clone. There is no reason that we shouldn't be able to reuse the
same board files to create multiple records with different
fingerprints. 

I will send a patch to fix this.
