Hi Saul, 

Given that we're no longer removing modules with the method below, should I create a patch to disable the ixgbe modules or would Mikko's patch be sufficient?
What about for disabling ixgbe in linux-yocto 4.4, should I create a separate .scc file?

But we're currently carrying linux-yocto 4.4 in the BSP. Is there another way to do this?

Drop this patch as I will not merge it for linux-yocto, only linux- intel.
