Hi Felix,
What hardware are you on? The xorg.conf for the crownbay BSP is made for the crownbay platform consisting of Shell-bay & Little-bay board. If you are using different hardware, then some tweaking may be needed on top of the crownbay BSP.

Subject: [meta-intel] crownbay build boots, but the screen stays black

Hello,
I'm trying to build a working image for the Intel Atom E660 with the EMGD driver using the the yocto layers, meta-intel and meta-intel/meta-crownbay.
I followed the instructions from meta-intel/meta-crownbay/README

Currently I'm on the master branch, but I also tried branch dany with the same result.
I'm booting from live usb after dd'ing the .hddimg onto it.
The boot process is fine, but after starting the xserver booth screens stay black, till I' switching to the console via CTRL + ALT + F3.
Then the first screen is working as expected, the second one stays black (guess this is only a configuration issue with EMGD)

"ps" tells me, that matchbox-window-manager, matchbox-desktop and matchbox-panel are running and
/var/log/Xorg.0.log seems to be fine

I'm using the yocto layers, meta-intel and meta-intel/meta-crownbay

Do you have any suggestions?

Viele Grüße
