Nitin,
I needed to generate a custom video bios for the SOM I'm using to support
my LCD panel. The system bios for the SOM only has a slot for a 64K VBIOS,
and their app-note recommends using IEMGD 1.8 to generate said VBIOS.
Now that I've installed the custom VBIOS using the system utility, my LCD
panel works until X starts. The EMGD 1.14 that was in the original yocto
build would redirect X output to SVDO rather than LVDS. Using the X config
that was generated by the IEMGD tool with the 1.14 X driver resulted in
severe display corruption. I suspect this is due to the emgd-1.14 driver
not matching the bios generated by the IEMGD 1.8 tool. However, the
Linux driver package generated by the IEMGD tool doesn't seem to have all
the files necessary to support the bitbake recipe.
The SOM I'm using is a Congatec QA6, with an Atom E680.
