You mean instead of using meta-kernel-dev at all? I like this idea, but
we need to be clear about what we intend here. It will be documented and
it will become a permanent thing we will need to continually support. It
seems that this might be better done in the base linux-yocto 3.4 recipe
rather than on a per machine basis - except for where the machine adds a
branch like emgd to the mix.

Does this interfere with the use of meta-kernel-dev?
