Hi Gary,

Actually, we started to do the following switch i.MX GST fork upstream long time ago, My last time's try was for imx8MQ Beta release.
And now, we plan to do upstream for imx8MQ GA release first and then do imx_4.9.88_2.0.0_ga upstream.
Our current goal is to fix imx-gst1.0 build break in rocko branch ASAP.

Why not using the imx_4.9.88_2.0.0_ga instead of the imx_4.9.51_8mq_ga?

It seems more recent and targets all i.MX platforms publicly available (i.MX6, i.MX7(ULP), i.MX8M)?
