Hi all.

I'm working with rocko on imx6dlsabresd derived hardware.

I download every layers with

# repo init -u https://github.com/Freescale/fsl-community-bsp-platform
-b morty

# report sync

But every time I bitbake I see DISTRO_VERSION is updated

Build Configuration:
BB_VERSION           = "1.36.0"
BUILD_SYS            = "x86_64-linux"
NATIVELSBSTRING      = "universal"
TARGET_SYS           = "arm-fslc-linux-gnueabi"
MACHINE              = "imx6qdlsabresd"
DISTRO               = "fslc-x11"
DISTRO_VERSION       = "2.3-snapshot-20180221"<<< Why?
TUNE_FEATURES        = "arm armv7a vfp thumb neon callconvention-hard"
TARGET_FPU           = "hard"
meta
meta-poky            = "HEAD:50189fdf620bc9ca42065998ce8c5a796ad8c331"
meta-oe              = "HEAD:a65c1acb1822966c3553de9fc98d8bb6be705c4e"
meta-freescale       = "HEAD:71a54c7b50221800fa4c90c30a425c2f119db3bc"
meta-freescale-3rdparty = "HEAD:ce86126d4978c7c02a9c6e2e317af0627e5b9a6a"
meta-freescale-distro = "HEAD:3f958b6a9a4c4120f241e431fec8e5ba616fcc73"
meta-ibr115          = "rocko:9474772c014cffa96c05e48ac7fa3f2feb00fa72"
meta-qt5             = "rocko:db881bb4917628ad3eb1fa7c4f27915cf2ae60f4"
meta-python          = "HEAD:a65c1acb1822966c3553de9fc98d8bb6be705c4e"

I think the distro is update every bitbake pulling from repositories or
simply bitbake marks the date of the image production.

This is the output of "repo info" command

My question is. I'm working this a stable rocko branch or I'm working
with a mix of different branches?

I'd like to work with a stable rocko distro of Yocto.

Thanks all.

Mauro
