[meta-freescale] yocto on 240x320 display

Hi, 

 I am working on a 240x320 LCD display. When I booted the Linux image
with yocto filesystem, the booting process in completed successfully but
the desktop and other application images and icons are out of the screen
and seems to be enlarged. I have made changes in the dtb files for new
hsync vsync values for 240x320 resolution. But it has no effect on the
overall look of the display. 

How can I reduce the resolution in yocto?
