Hi Michael,
could you please try moving the following part of your dts:
pinctrl_ecspi1_1: ecspi1grp {

MX6QDL_PAD_KEY_ROW0__ECSPI1_MOSI 0x100b1

MX6QDL_PAD_KEY_ROW1__GPIO4_IO09 0x80000000
>;
};
in the "iomuxc => imx6qdl-var-som-mx6" section, let's say just before the pinctrl_ecspi3_1 declaration?
In case you are still failing the boot, could you please share a full boot log?
