[meta-freescale] Krogath: Weston corrupted double-lined list crash

We are running an embedded application written against GTK3 running
atop Weston 1.9.0 and we see crashes occasionally with "caught signal:
6 `weston' : corrupted double-linked list (not small):

We haven't been able to find a reliable way to trigger the condition,
though a new site that is a little more graphics intensive seems to do
it fairly often.  (as many as 3 out of 12 times when the screen gets
fully repainted.)

There is an old bug describing a similar issue:

examples of this happening to anyone else more recently

Any ideas?  is there anyone at NXP that may be able to help further?

I have a snapshot of the onscreen log after this has happened, but it
doesn't appear to provide any useful info.
