[meta-freescale] [meta-fsl-arm-extra][PATCH 2/3] Added recipies for warp7 kernel. warp7_defconfig is pulled from fslc github repo. linux-warp_4.1.bb is the bitbake recipe to build warp7 kernel.

Are you talking about the kernel provider name being "linux-warp"? In
fact this provider only supports WaRP 7. The support for WaRP6 is
exactly the same we have in linux-fslc-imx (as linux-warp is a fork of
linux-fslc-imx)

The differences between linux-fslc-imx and linux-warp today is:

* linux-warp is outdated, the patches from linux-fslc-imx (pull-request needed)

ARM: IMX: imx7d_warp: Add otxv5432 driver

I don't have hope to get the DSI display upstreamed in near future, so
I may be better to have a fork for them. For the patches applyed in
linux-fslc-imx we are working (according to our schedule) to get them
upstreamed to the kernel.org, there are patches already merged and
there are patches already sent to the ML.

I think this explain what the changes are today.
