Hello,

I have previously built Qt5.5.1 based QtWebEngine using Yocto for SMARC
sAMX6i without issues. However, I recently moved the Yocto build environment
to a new machine, and now I am encountering problems re-building QtWebEngine
(host platform is Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit).

I get the following error output from the build process:

| Using extra options found in
/mnt/ssd/smarctmp/work/cortexa9hf-vfp-neon-poky-linux-gnueabi/qtwebengine/5.
5.1+gitAUTOINC+qtwebengine-r0/git/src/core/qmake_extras.gypi

-mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=neon -mtune=cortex-a9
--sysroot=/mnt/ssd/smarctmp/sysroots/smarc-samx6i -Xassembler --version -x
assembler -c /dev/null

| Command '@echo compiling gyp_run.pro && arm-poky-linux-gnueabi-g++

-Xassembler --version -x assembler -c /dev/null' returned non-zero exit
status 127

| Exception: Failed to extract compiler version for args: ['target',
'assembler']

Seems there is some script extracting compiler version info or similar that
fails of some reason (gyp file generation). Any ideas what could be the
source of this issue? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Andreas Enbacka
