[meta-freescale] package_deb is broken 3.10.53_ga

Hello,

There is a thread on the communities in which the customer reports that packages with a slash in their name causes the debian package manager class to blow up because it only allows letters and certain other characters. Would you know if this is programmed to be fixed or would it better to recommend the customer to use rpm instead?
