[meta-freescale] Can one use the Mesa GBM (Generic Buffer Manager) on i.MX6 yocto?

Has anyone ever tried to add the Mesa GBM (Generic Buffer Manager) package
to a freescale yocto build?

If not, would you expect it to work?
