Does it means Freescale is adopting officially the Linux mainline for
MX28? If this is the case I am fine with the patch.

Changing this has several implications on the base BSP. The first is
that every new project will use Linux mainline and thus Freescale
support channels need to be aware of this change. Furthermore, as the
binary codecs and imx-test are going to not be tested this imply we
drop the support for MX28 at same time.
