Sorry, Prabhu, I don´t think it is expected.

One thing is that weston for imx6 is supposed to be hardware
accelerated by GPU Vivante.

Another thing is the build fail in imx53. It is not going to be
hardware accelerated, but it should work and if it is failing, it´s a
bug.

Otherwise, why imx28evk can handle X11?
