After going after why we were seeing the build failure I now
understand why this is needed.

The gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad is using the EGL backend (with DirectFB
support) and the EGL headers include the directfb headers which cannot
be found /before/ checking the DirectFB existance which is done after
in the configure.ac script. So I restored this patch and included it
in my queue which is now building...
