@Otavio: you are going to hate me for this. My build system's memory
had gone bad. Somehow it managed to escape my eyes. Because of bad
memory I was having all sorts of errors. Especially, large downloads
were getting corrupted.

I'm extremely sorry for posting issues which were coming up because of
bad memory.

Anyways, after removing the faulty memory module, I started fresh and
left the build last night, have gone quite far in the build (at least
now i see tmp/deploy/images directory), will start new thread for new
issues.

@Khem @Michael: Please ignore the errors posted by me. Sorry about it!
