Hi Adrian,
as far as meta-ivi is concerned, you can use the 3.0 branch that is designed to work with poky (oe-core) danny branch.
Looking forward to receiving further contributions from your team.

Thank you,
Florin

Subject: [meta-fsl-arm] [meta-ivi] layer stable branch request

Hi Florin, Andrei

We had been using meta-ivi layer to generate Genivi compliance BSP for demo purposes,
and we want to use meta-ivi + meta-fsl-arm to create a more formal BSP that we can deliver to
our clients.

We want to relay on “meta-ivi” but we require a stable branch where we base our work and guarantee,
that our clients could also be able to build by them self a working BSP.

In meta-fsl-arm layer we are about to move our master branch to a new branch that will target oe-core “danny”
branch, so we could base our future work on a stable branch, and use the same branch on all layers.

oe-core
meta-openembedded
meta-ivi
meta-fsl-arm

In the processes as we encounter bugs/issues in any layer we are more that welling to provide fixes for “stable” and
next release branch (master).

@Florian, Holger, what do you think.

Regards
Adrian Alonso
