seebsstrace it, wait until a short period after you stop seeing opens-for-read of sstate files, SIGKILL?00:07
seebs... hmm. I think the thing where I start getting bad ideas if I don't have dinner is kicking in.00:07
kergothI'd sooner just patch bitbake to add a new argument ala -p (exit after parsing) :)00:07
kergothalternatively, use an event handler. e.g. exit at BuildStarted00:07
kergothnot sure if that fires before or after the scenequeue, actually :)00:08

nerdboyanyway, if it matters, my grumpy toolchain side likes that idea15:33
fraykergoth, not the 'best' solution, but I've set my sstate directory as a 'mirror'.. then created a new blank sstate dir..15:33

denixdarknighte: ok, had to dig really deep... :) it's a cruft left from old COMMERCIAL_LICENSE global mechanism. originally, only proper commercial packages were marked, but then also packages that depend on those commercial ones were marked as well, so the "make world" would work... :)19:48
denixdarknighte: and then global COMMERCIAL_LICENSE list was replaced with per-recipe LICENSE_FLAGS, so those commercial flags went into corresponding recipes, even those that aren't really commercial...19:49
darknightehrmmm, so it sounds like I should be able to drop the commercial designation for those packages then?19:50
darknighteperhaps let me come at it from another direction.19:51

darknightehow does adding these flags enable "make world" to work?19:51

darknightethe dependency, I mean.19:53
fraybryan, the read-only-rootfs makes the system work when you BOOT with a readonly rootfs..19:53
