Timesys, that venerable embedded Linux OS vendor who provided the first commercially viable real-time Linux distro waaay back in 2000 (beating MontaVista by only a few months), is still cranking out embedded Linux support, and this week they have announced a renewal of their engagement with the Yocto Project. They actually never left. As founding members of the Yocto Project, Timesys was valuable in helping to shape the project from its beginnings, and more recently they have
been contributing strongly to the Toaster project as well as other projects within YP.

The Timesys statement can be seen at this link, and Timesys folks can be found on both the yocto and Toaster mailing lists.
